Amanda Mascarenhas (she/her) is a Theatre Designer and Visual Artist. She works mainly in Theatre, Television and Events. She designs in a variety of styles including, but not limited to Touring, Musicals, Devised, Young Peoples and Immersive work. She prides herself in creating immersive experiences for audiences to surround them and make a sensory experience.
She also works in a variety of art forms with groups as a Community Artist. Groups such as Young Refugees, Intergenerational and PMLD groups.
She is also a workshop facilitator and maker. Her practice is also informed by trauma awareness.
She is Associate Artist to Kazzum Arts and The Kings Head Theatre, and a Trustee of The Kings Head Theatre.
She graduated from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance gaining BA(Hons) in Theatre Design. She grew up in London and is based in London as well.
